Pecel Lele

Aah... a typical warung (street food stall) which you will find in many streets of Jakarta. This particular one serves home cooking food such as pecel lele (fried fish served with rice and veggies with spicy peanut sauce), ayam goreng (fried chicken), soto ayam (Indonesian style clear chicken soup), sambal (Indonesian chilly sauce), etc. Happy Friday, everyone! So, are there any street food stalls where you live?
Comments:
No, we have no warung in East Lansing, except during the art festivals. Too small I guess. This food sounds very yummy. I love buying food on the street when I go to big cities.

Hmm, well not really. There are some coffee/snack stalls, and there will be food stalls at markets and on special occasions. There are fresh fruit stands in central Sydney though.

we dont have such opened places..(maybe in summer for icecream) but a lot of small bufets for hamburgers, hot dogs..or for the Hungarian lángos

ooh, I could do with a Soto Ayam just about now!

hope you're doing fine and thanks for stopping by.
