Daily Photo Theme - Doorways

Here comes the Daily Photo Theme again. This time we are showing you doorways from all over the world. I really would like to take credit for this picture, but I'm just such a good friend that I don't have the heart to do so :) My friend's husband took a picture of this entrance which leads to Losari coffee plantation, where they both went on their vacation. It's not located in Jakarta, but Semarang city of Central Java. This is an outstanding photo. I like the lighting, color, detail, and cobblestones.
Denton said it all! Simply beautiful. Do you know if this is metal or wood?
Nice photo anyway! And the plantation resort looks lovely, too.
Kuno tapi antik. Have you ever been there San?
denton: thanks. I'll tell him your compliment :)

felicia: it's all wood.

meg: yes, our president likes to spend some time relaxing on that coffee plantation. it is a very nice gateaway place.

tanty: not yet. would really love to, although I must do some saving first :)
Nice soft lacework together with the colours make for a great photo.
It's beautiful. And knowing it's on a coffee plantation makes it even better! :)
is it made of wood or iron, santy?
anyway, a cup of coffee inside would be wonderful :)
kris: it's made of wood. and yes, smelling and sipping coffee there would be perfect!
This is incredibly beautiful Santy! That saturated teal is amazing. A memorable doorway, indeed!
Love the color of the door and the carving is very interesting.

beautiful shot, beautiful door, I love the color and the woodwork!
If it weren't for this relaxing door, I can imagine a vacation at a coffee plantation might not be as relaxing!
Makes me wonder what's down the path! I also like the color! Nice photo!
time zones can be a hassle.. still trying to get through all the doorways..a and sept 2 post is already out..;-) it was interesting to take this with the door ajar.. the path beyond the doorways adds to it's charm and mystery.
Your friends husband has a good eye for colour and light. Great way to share his talents. Love the door.
